| Review: | This place has great pizza and a fun bar. The bar, though, closes at 1 am, and really isn't packed that often, as they do not have a full iiquor license. The pizzaria next door is great for take out, and they serve pretty good food in the bar. The $6 lunch special, served from 1-4 pm on weekdays, includes a molson or coors, a soup or salad, and any sandwich (with fries). If you needed anything more, the waitresses are hot. Another special thing about roggies that brings most of its business is happy hour. Happy hour is technically every day from 4-7, but if you ask any BC kids they will tell you happy hour at Roggies is on friday. On a good day, students arrive around 3 to ensure a table and entry without waiting in line. WIngs are 25 cents, and bud light drafts are $1. Because the floor is mostly covered with tables, BC students pull together the tables to play cards, quarters and other drinking games with large groups of friends. The downstairs is a little quieter and smaller, but is a good time too. I recommend the 007 Roggies bowl (the orange colored one). |
